What to do in Cancun?
Visit Places of Tourist Interest
Playa Delfines is one of the busiest beaches for local people. Located almost at the end of the hotel zone, at kilometer 19.5, it is one of the largest free beaches in the area. Without hotels adorning their backs, you can rest for a while the view of the large white buildings and take long walks without avoiding white hammocks.
Excursion to Isla Mujeres
Isla Mujeres is a beautiful neighboring island and it is a perfect plan to do in Cancun. At just 8km long, this island is perfect for cycling and you quickly get from one side to the other, from one beach to the next, from north to south.
An exceptional place to visit for a couple of days and enjoy its turquoise water and clear sand beaches, quieter than those of neighboring Cancun. In addition, along its coasts there are beautiful reefs that if you dare, you can dive.
The Market 28
If you are interested in the typical crafts of the region, visiting Mercado 28 is one of the things you have to do in Cancun. Stroll through its stalls, get lost in the crowded streets, eat some tacos while music plays and fill your backpack with memories for your loved ones.
The Plaza de las Palapas
The Plaza de las Palapas is one of the locals' favorite meeting places on the weekend. There is no shortage of families and couples who go to spend some time in the square on the weekend, to have lunch in the stalls and sometimes even to enjoy one of the shows that can be seen on stage.
